Retired Women, as you’re aware, the holiday season is here! Thanksgiving is just around the corner with Christmas close on it’s heels! There are lots of gatherings, parties and programs to be enjoyed! With that in mind, we decided to combine our November and December meetings. We don’t want anyone to be so busy and overwhelmed that they forget to focus on the true meaning of Thanksgiving and Christmas. Come join us for a holiday gathering on Tuesday, December 4th in the church Conference Room from 11:30- 3:00 pm.  We’ll be singing carols, listening to a Christmas Story, making a Christmas craft and having an ornament exchange, along with enjoying appetizers and favorite Christmas goodies together!
Here’s what we’re asking you to bring:
1.Your favorite savory, (not sweet), appetizer. This will be our meal.
2. A small plate of your favorite holiday goodies. (cookies, candy)
3. $5 or less ornament for the exchange. Please have it wrapped or in a gift bag. On the name tag, just put your name, not who it’s for.
4. A friend, relative or neighbor that could use encouragement and fellowship during this season. The holidays are a hard and lonely time for many. Included in Biblical Community is reaching out and sharing God’s love in tangible ways. Please pray about who you could bring. We’re looking forward to enjoying this special time with all of you! Mark your calendars now!!

Yes, we’re moving to 2940 Quivera Ave, in Great Bend, Kansas. The house doesn’t have a basement so we had to downsize. I’ve always enjoyed auctions so was excited about having our own. In fact, many of the things we sold were purchased at auctions. The problem was getting the things moved. So our church family kindly helped us. Dustin was talking to one of the people setting up things for the other party in the auction. He told Dustin they had been working all day and here it was midafternoon and the other party hadn’t started yet. Then he saw the trucks and people come into the building and said, “Oh,

Church Family Is helping. A Church Family is important.” So we want to thank you from the depth of our hearts for helping and getting the job done in short order. We appreciate each one of you and your prayers. We will miss you. Menno and Susanna

Church Family,
Thank you so much for your prayers, cards, and the candy boquets during my two toe surgeries. It meant a lot to know you were all thinking of and praying for me. The doctor thinks things are healing nicely and I’m back to my normal activities now.
